Operating in the supernatural

The Supernatural
Operating in the supernatural

Operating in the supernatural refers to tapping into the power and presence of the Holy Spirit to perform supernatural acts or to receive supernatural revelations. As believers, we have been called to operate in the supernatural and to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Here are some Biblical scriptures that can help guide us as we seek to operate in the supernatural:

  1. John 14:12 - "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father."

This scripture reminds us that Jesus expects us to do the same works that he did, and even greater works. This includes healing the sick, casting out demons, and performing miracles.

  1. Acts 1:8 - "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

This scripture tells us that we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. This power is not just for our own benefit, but it is also to enable us to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.

  1. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10 - "But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”—these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God."

This scripture tells us that the Holy Spirit can reveal things to us that are beyond our natural understanding. This includes revelation about God's plans and purposes, as well as insight into situations and people.

  1. Mark 16:17-18 - "And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

This scripture lists some of the signs that will accompany those who believe. These signs include casting out demons, speaking in tongues, and healing the sick.

So how do we operate in the supernatural?

  1. Seek the Holy Spirit: The first step in operating in the supernatural is to seek the Holy Spirit. We need to ask the Holy Spirit to fill us and empower us to do the works that Jesus did.

  2. Believe: We need to have faith that the Holy Spirit will work through us to perform supernatural acts. We need to believe that God can do anything and that nothing is impossible for Him.

  3. Obey: We need to be obedient to the Holy Spirit's leading. When we feel prompted by the Holy Spirit to do something, we need to act on it without hesitation.

  4. Pray: Prayer is a powerful tool in operating in the supernatural. We need to pray for the sick, for deliverance, and for God's will to be done in every situation.

  5. Use the gifts of the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit gives us gifts to help us operate in the supernatural. These gifts include prophecy, healing, tongues, and discernment. We need to use these gifts to minister to others and to advance God's kingdom.

In conclusion, operating in the supernatural is not something that is reserved for a select few. As believers, we have been called to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit and to do the works that Jesus did. By seeking the Holy Spirit, having faith, obeying, praying, and using the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we can operate in the supernatural and see God do amazing things in and through us.
